Qualifications:
- Strong business skills and effective understanding of purchasing, inventory, work orders and shop floor control.
- Ability to understand the aircraft maintenance environment and the associated financial implications.
- Strong ability to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant data.
- Ability to effectively analyze transactional level detail in an enterprise resource planning environment.
- Ability to multi-task and drive actions to completion under strict deadlines.
- Must be able to collaborate and build positive relations with other teams with Finance, IT, etc.
- General accounting understanding.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach, mentor, and lead for other positions in the department.
Work Environment
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
- This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with department and business needs. The hours may be different if agreed with direct supervisor. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require.
Travel
- Travel requirements are: less than 10%
Required Education and Experience
- Education: BA in Finance or Accounting. Combined experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years
- Computer Skills: Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word

- Aviation and/or manufacturing inventory and work order control environment
- Job costing experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must be able to accomplish all duties with little or no assistance
- Must have good command of the English language; oral and written.
