Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an opportunity for Separating U.S. Servicemembers - Procurement Agents to join the Supplier Management Team in Dallas, TX

The successful candidates will support procurement activities for aftermarket goods and services in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization.  These positions act as authorized agents of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Experienced, or Senior.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage priorities for a high volume of supplier purchase orders/contracts effectively

  • Manage contractual documents and binding agreements including preparing, negotiating, executing, and documenting Request for Proposals (RFP), supplier contracts, and purchase orders in accordance with regulatory requirements and Boeing procedures

  • Support Proposal Board activity including gathering supplier cost and lead time inputs to support customer proposals, Requests for Information (RFI), and business development opportunities

  • Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities to ensure delivery, quality, and financial stability

  • Manage supplier performance, interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions

  • Initiate supplier improvement activities, while integrating and aligning with program business unit goals and strategies

  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders to ensure that program and customer strategies are integrated into supplier source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies

  • Communicate across functions, programs, and suppliers to effectively manage risks, issues and opportunities

  • Lead special projects to execute continuous improvement initiatives

  • Possess general understanding, ability, and knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations

  • Possess general knowledge of company and local policies, procedures and regulations

  • Oversee source selection for parts and services

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Separation of Service: 

Position(s) is/are eligible for the Boeing 12 Month U.S. Veteran Job Offer. Offers of employment can be made up to 12 months prior to separation of service. If an offer is made, it is contingent upon separation from service with the military. The selected candidate must provide their Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD Form 214) within 12 months from the date of the offer or prior to an official start date, whichever occurs first.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must be within 12 months of separating or retiring from the U.S. Armed Forces

  • 3+ years of experience with placing procurements and/or managing suppliers under government prime contracts

  • 3+ years of experience in government proposals and creation of request for proposals to major suppliers

  • 3+ years of experience executing sub contracts under US government prime contracts

  • ​3+ years of experience with executing large dollar, firm fixed prime government contracts

  • 3+ years of experience and/ or training on FAR and DFARS compliance

  • Understanding of Supply Chain processes and procedures
     

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with placing procurements and/or managing suppliers under government prime contracts

  • 5+ years of experience in government proposals and creation of request for proposals to major suppliers

  • 5+ years of experience executing sub contracts under US government prime contracts

  • 5+ years of experience with executing large dollar, firm fixed prime government contracts

  • 5+ years of experience and/ or training on FAR and DFARS compliance

  • 10 + years of experience with placing procurements and/or managing suppliers under government prime contracts

  • 10 + years of experience in government proposals and creation of request for proposals to major suppliers

  • 10 + years of experience executing sub contracts under US government prime contracts

  • 10 + years of experience with executing large dollar, firm fixed prime government contracts

  • 10 + years of experience and/ or training on FAR and DFARS compliance

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline

  • Experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer

  • Experience with project management or leading project initiatives

  • Experience with strategic sourcing and managing supplier performance

Typical Education/Experience: 
Associate (Level 2)

​​Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years related work experience, 7 years related work experience, etc.).

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range (Associate): $64,600 – $87,400

Summary Pay Range (Experienced): $79,900 – $108,100

Summary Pay Range (Senior): $102,000 – $138,000
