Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Flight attendants are responsible to ensure passengers follow all flight regulations, and enforce such regulations including any emergency procedures that may involve evacuations, emergency landings, and severe turbulence. Flight attendants also assist passengers in boarding and deplaning, making most announcements on the plane related to such things as safety and emergency procedures, carry-on luggage, and flight transfer information. Starting salary for a first year Flight Attendant is approximately $18,000 with potential and opportunities for increased income. Minimum Qualifications:
* Possess previous customer service experience
* Present a neat and professional appearance
* Be able t o work all days and hours of the week, to include holidays
* No visible tattoos or body piercings. Tattoos cannot be anywhere on the face, neck, arms, hands, feet or legs below the knee.
* Flight Attendants must be willing to be away from home up to five consecutive days.
* Applicants must be willing to relocate to one of our crew bases, which are located in Harrisburg, PA, Salisbury, MD, Philadelphia, PA, Roanoke, VA
* Be at least 5’2” tall and a maximum of 6’0” tall
* Successfully complete a background check, FBI fingerprint check, and a drug screening.
* Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
* At least 21 years of age
* High School Diploma or GED
* Valid Driver’s License
* No DUI’s in the past five years
* Valid Passport
 
Preferred Qualifications:
* Post-secondary degree or airline training course
 
Work Environment:
* Airport ramp environment subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
* Work weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
 
Physical Requirements:
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, ability to lift up to 70 pounds
