Job Responsibilities
- Accurately count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an MRP system
- Follow written work orders or verbal instructions to identify materials to be moved
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
- Accurately and consistently tag or label materials or otherwise mark information
- Open crates/packaging using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools
- Convey materials to or from storage or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck, electric dolly, forklift, or other devices
- Qualify as licensed powered material handling equipment operator (stand-up forklift) within 90 days.
- Acquire proficiency in RF-gen hand-scanner within 90 days
- Load materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Requires some inventory/warehousing computer skills such as to retrieve data and look up information
- Aptitude to become proficient with a RF handheld scanner within 90 days
- Aptitude to certify on stand-up forklift within 90 days
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while dealing with a high level of repetitiveness
- Responsible for employee compliance to safety requirements on a daily basis
- Supportive and active participation in continuous process improvement initiatives
