Prime Air is seeking an experienced Procurement Agent. As part of a team of supply chain professionals, you will develop and manage strategies, performance, and relations with suppliers for various hardware, facilities and services. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of supplier management, product design, and schedules. This position will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safety and reliability.
Key job responsibilities
• The evaluation, sourcing, and development of the supply base to support the research, development and production
• Ensures systems are designed, fabricated and delivered on time to support program requirements
• Guide sourcing activity including status, history, criticality, operational performance
• Works with program stakeholders to identify long lead procurement requirements
• Evaluates suitability, stability, and risk of current and potential suppliers with regard to financial health, staffing, quality, throughput, technical capability, and reputation
• Leads suppliers through the resolution of discrepancies or schedule delays, including corrective and preventive actions and recovery plans
• Works with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for obtaining first time quality throughout the supply chain
• Leads supplier negotiations on complex procurement contracts
• Conducts periodic supplier reviews
Export Control License
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
