SKILLS YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE
A successful candidate must possess the following:
Experience in structural steel work with strong mechanical skills.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and engineering instructions.
Experience in machine operation, including drill press, drop saw, and band saw.
Experience in oxy-acetylene cutting.
Knowledge of track torch operation and software.
General knowledge of welding and weld symbols, however NO welding will be required.
Good communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with the STL and other departments at Bell.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate.
At least 2 years technical school applicable education. Extensive heavy and light steel work experience may be substituted for education past high school.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Have your own set of hand tools.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift 25 pounds.
Able to stand for at least 9 hours.
