Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all incoming and outgoing material adheres to quality inspection standards in accordance with the companys Quality Management System (QMS).
- Assists in shipping & receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated holding/storage area.
- Ensures warehouse is accessible and safe for customer/employee traffic
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Must have experience in stocking, packaging, and shipping material
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be flexible to work any shift
- Attention to detail is imperative
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be efficient with a desire to succeed
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Position requires standing for the majority of the work hours
- Ability to operate forklift
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license with good driving record.
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment test for drugs as per the DOT regulations.
