PRIMARY FUNCTION 
Shall perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the Company&39;s Logistics Operations. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Must have a desire to achieve the best and produce top quality results; ensures quality control by appropriately handling and accurately processing material in accordance with standard operating procedures (i.e., Command Media)

  • Receive, move, store and ship materials in accordance with Command Media, Government and Security regulations.

  • Some examples of daily tasking include the following: verify materials ( or merchandise) against

  • shipping/receiving documents, annotate and report discrepancies and damage, know/monitor condition code and report discrepancies, printing and applying stow labels, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; stacking or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining materials and reporting deterioration and damage, verifying unit of issue, quantities, item identification nomenclature part number (PIN), stock number (NSN), serial number

  • (SIN) against documents and preparing-it for shipment.

  • Ensures quality control by appropriately handling and accurately processing material in accordance with standard operating procedures (i.e., Command Media).

  • Obtain access to required Inventory Management Systems (IMS)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or tools and retain/preserve certifications as required by the Company. User of Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Systems Applications and Products (SAP) and GOLDesp.

  • Understand and effectively execute support of Electrostatic Device (ESD), shelf-life and calibration management.

  • Understand and effectively execute Return to Inventory (RTI) / Return to Stock (RTS) processes.

  • Pick up, receives, inspects, sorts, and delivers incoming, outgoing, and inter-office mail.

  • Maintains accountable records as applicable.

  • Scan orders and track shipments across multiple inventory systems.

  • Maintain required inventory controls.

  • Worker will be trained and licensed to operate required material-handling equipment (MHE) and obtain license with-in 60 days and other support equipment to store or move material; required to retain/preserve license to support warehouse operations.

  • Complete required training on time to perform duties required for position, with-in company, and customer learning system.

  • Safety First: observe work-place safety rules and procedures by using applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and immediately addressing all safety concerns. Completes all safety training requirements.

  • Responsible for general housekeeping and comply with general warehouse maintenance methods and follow ­through for non-routine issues.

  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
This job has no supervisory responsibilities and the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. 

Job Requirements:

•    Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. minimum
•    Strong analytical ability to recognize out of compliance conditions, document discrepancies, take initiative in problem resolution, comply with general warehouse maintenance methods and follow-through for non­routine issues.
•    Functional knowledge to access Command Media and read, review, and provide feedback on applicable manuals.
•    Intense dedication to ensuring quality metrics are met.
•    Ability to safeguard all government property/facilities and provide adequate resource protection to prevent contamination, pilferage, sabotage, and accidental damage, including used controlled forms.
•    Must not pose a potential threat to the health, safety, security and general wellbeing or operational mission of the installation and its population.
•    Present a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times, unless precluded by assigned work.
•    Demonstrable experience as a self-starter who takes initiative in problem resolution and follow-through for non-routine issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1 + years Warehouse experience

  • Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software preferred

  • Must be able to pass a drug test and have, or be able to obtain, a DoD National Agency Check

  • Investigation (NACI) Interim Secret Security Clearance within 60 days from date of hire.
