Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $47.00 an hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
Contract Terms: 6-Month Contract to Hire
Overview: Aerotek Aviation is currently seeking qualified A&P Mechanics to work at our clients maintenance facility in Mesa, AZ that focuses on all-in-one leader in tactical aircraft maintenance and repairs for A-4N’s, TA-4J, and other adversary support aircraft.
Job Duties: As an A&P mechanic, you will work on various fighter jets. Starting out, you main focus will be the maintenance, repair and effective troubleshooting of our customers’ fleet of A4 Skyhawk aircraft. Additional duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- A&P Mechanics are responsible to the Director of Maintenance and shall ensure that the procedure outlined in FAA Regulations and manufacturer’s instructions are complied with
- Work involves the responsibility of performing routine maintenance, and major inspections on corporate jet aircraft
- Troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft systems and engines is accomplished by this position
- In addition, component removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs are all within the responsibility of the A&P Mechanic.
- Troubleshoot all aircraft systems as required.
Position Requirements:
- Must have FAA A&P License
- Must have 3+ years of Aviation Maintenance Experience
- Fighter Jet experience preferred but not required
