LOCATION: Greensboro, NC

PAY RATE: $27.32 - $37.35 per hour

Summary:

    Performs complex assembly, fitting of detail parts, and installation at high level productivity rate within various manufacturing processes (i.e. sealant, fasteners, electric harnessing, and hydraulics).

    Assures parts assembly meets or exceeds specifications.

    Performs routine and build tasks completion parameters as defined by management (with 100 accuracy within or under predefined timeframe).

    Completes frequent special assignments and complex repairs.

    Recommends solutions to a variety of related problems of sophisticated scope and complexity.

    Teams with other Company associates in other functional areas to resolve "stop work issues", to partner in NH Circle projects, and to establish "Best Practice" methodologies.

    May participate actively in the mentor program.

    Trains others to perform tasks.

    Proactively keeps supervisor/lead up to date on task/assignment status, issues, and/or delays.

    Maintains a clean and organized work area. Supports the company 5S program (Sort, Systematize, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain). Directs other on maintenance of the work area.

    Participates and satisfactorily completes HACI certification eligibility requirements for internal aircraft process specifications, and continuously meets recurrent training requirements.

Required Skills:

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Relevant experience or have demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above mentioned tasks.

    A&P and/or other related licensure highly desired.

    Requires the use of arithmetic, instruments, and blueprints.

    Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and process specifications to follow sequence of planned operations.

    Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

    Advanced knowledge of the aircraft systems or components function.

    Experience working directly with outside customers.

    Exhibits teamwork and strong work ethics.

    Works with minimal supervision.

    Ability to work overtime, call in, call back, and on call duty if so requested by management.

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, and PowerPoint) strongly preferred.

    Intermediate working knowledge of SAP and TCM beginner level.

    May be requested to travel nationally and internationally. Must be travel credential restriction free.

Physical Requirements:

    Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.

    Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

    Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA,

    DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).

    Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

    Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.

    Effectively communicate in Business English language.

    Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.

    Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dollys, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.

    Must have full range of motion and agility.
