PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Structures A220, in Mobile, AL.
- The Aircraft Structure Assembler is a critical part of the aircraft assembly process.
- The position requires previous knowledge of aircraft structure assembly and skill to complete the allocated tasks on Quality and On time.
- Must possess a high level of integrity, the ability to communicate clearly, and be flexible to work across three shifts.
- Must be able to work alone and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment to enable the delivery of a high-quality aircraft and on-time delivery to internal customers (TAKT).
- Complete allocated tasks on Time and on Quality.
- Understand the Qualification process and be an SI (self-inspector) stamp holder within the first 6 months on Station.
- Understand the build process and specifications within your allocated Structures Station.
- Coordination with other team members to ensure delivery schedule is met.
- Work in compliance with production work orders and supporting documents. (e.g. Quality standards, drawings, and SOI's)
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent
- Previous hands-on experience with drilling tools, templates, drilling machines, fasteners, and torquing tools
Preferred:
- 5+ years minimum experience in Aviation Production
- Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Systems Proficiency:
Able to enter, generate, and retrieve information using a computer (SAP and Excel knowledge required).
