Assembler - Level 2

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for the assembly of electronic equipment.  You will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly.  You may conduct quality inspection on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. You may disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.  At the intermediate level, you will follow defined procedures and processes using various equipment in order to complete tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver own output following broad framework or standards with some impact on immediate job area.
• Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization.
• Check problems in existing systems or processes.
• Support HOS (Honeywell Operating System) Activities
• Utilize Built in Quality (BIQ) and Thought Process Maps (TPM).  
• Utilize HOS tools, skills and knowledge per HOS Development guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in assembly

• Associate degree in a technical discipline such as electronics, electro-mechanical, or related area.
• Ability to use inspection tools associated with related products.
• Ability to read Blueprints.
• Experience in a 5S, Kaizen, or Lean environment
