Job Description:
  • Comprehend and follow job orders and tasks assigned.
  • Organized, able to adapt to changes, planning and prioritizing.
  • Work efficiently and productively.
  • Read and interpret aircraft and component manuals, Airworthiness Directives, and any other related documents.
  • Analyze data and information to determine compliance with standards.
  • Basic computer skills, aircraft information, work orders, maintenance tracking, and manuals are typically accessed through computers.
  • Ability to work safely and monitor shop surroundings and environment for potential problems or risks.
  • Agility and dexterity, climbing ladders and scaffolding, moving around aircraft. Perform duties in unusual positions, handling and moving objects.
  • Lifting objects and working with others to lift heavy objects (aircraft batteries can weigh 90lbs).
  • Using hand tools for disassembly/reassembly, drilling, and riveting.
  • Mechanical and technical understanding as to how systems work together, able to troubleshoot and perform proper repairs.
  • Read and understand schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Basic electrical principles, troubleshoot basic electrical problems, perform connections and inspections.
  • Use measuring devices and diagnostic tools in mechanical and electrical applications.
  • Perform general aircraft tasks such as removing and installing numerous panels, applying sealers, touch up painting, fueling, cleaning, lubricating, and protecting.
  • Inspect aircraft and be able to identify errors, problems, or defects and perform proper repairs in accordance with manuals and standards.
  • Operate shop vehicles, aircraft equipment and other mechanical devices.
Job Requirements:
  • Dependable and Punctual.
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant License 2+ years’ experience on corporate aircraft including (Citation, Falcon, Hawker, King Air, ETC.)
  • Knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems.
  • General knowledge of the combined federal regulations.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Subject to Drug and Alcohol screenings on a random basis
  • Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking English clearly.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must have a high degree of cognitive skills to understand and follow repair manuals and to perform highly technical tasks in a safety-sensitive environment.
