Started in 2012 by a husband and wife team, Blue Line Aviation is a professional pilot school located at the Johnston Regional Airport in Smithfield, NC, and the Winter Haven Regional Airport in Winter Haven, FL. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Aviation Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and repair, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft according to established guidelines and procedures
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft mechanical and electrical systems
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of aircraft components as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintenance standards
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively

Job Requirements:
  • FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) certification recommended
  • Previous experience working as an aviation mechanic preferred
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance practices
  • Knowledge of Diamond Aircraft and Piper Aircraft
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
