If you are a self-led, energetic professional, Honeywellcurrently has an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your technical andcustomer skills in a key role as a Field Service Technician in our Jackson, MIoffice.
Does enter residential homes.
Candidate will have access to company vehicle; if one is notavailable mileage reimbursement can be done via weekly expense report.
Performs installation of demand response switches onheating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Installs new units orreplacement parts for existing units according to specifications andestablished safety guidelines. Requires a high school diploma or itsequivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formaltraining in area of specialty. Requires 0-2 years of experience in the field orin a related area. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, andprocedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions andpre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works underlimited supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercisingindependent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. SpecialConsiderations: Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimalrepetitions. Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks isminimal.

- Field operations experience with product installationknowledge.

- Strong work ethic, with ability to self-manage daily workschedule and performance, with limited supervision.
Must have:

- Excellent oral and communication skills.
- Valid drivers license.
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and skill with hand tools.
