Role and Responsibilities:

  • Complete required training curriculum for each fabrication process

  • Complete all required compliance training

  • Complete all EHS training and participate in safety and/or quality audit

  • Be an active contributing member of a high-performance self-directed work team

  • Will be assigned tasks from multiple areas of concentration, including:

    • Gerber Table Cutting Equipment;

    • Lay-up (Hand Application of Raw Material onto Molds);

    • Furnace Operations: Autoclave, Burnout, Melt Infiltration;

    • Grit Blast;

    • CNC Machine Operation;

    • Non-Conventional Machining using EDM and Laser Drilling;

    • Visual and Machine Inspection

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED

Desired Characteristics

  • Previous Ceramic Matrix Composite and/or manufacturing experience preferred, not required

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment

  • Flexibility to rotate between different shop floor operations

  • Demonstrated ability with computer systems

  • Mechanical and/or technical aptitude

  • Strong documentation skills to record operations and data

  • Teaming Champion: ability to flex work and communication styles in an inclusive environment

  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills

  • A positive, can-do attitude; ability to pivot performance and behavior based on feedback

  • Passion for safety and quality, while maintaining keen focus on delivering to our customers

Eligibility Requirements

  • Flexibility to work different schedules for training, as required

  • Ability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity, as required

  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of the pre-employment process, including a background check and drug screening
