Job Description:
A helicopter maintenance facility in Fairfield, NJ is hiring a Helicopter Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Sr. A&P Technician/Assistant Director of Maintenance/Director of Maintenance. We are looking for someone to come in and progress into a management position of running the maintenance department in the day to day operations in 3-12 months. This person should meet the requirements or nearly meet the requirements to be a Part 135 Director of Maintenance. The operation will develop you in our tasks and procedures and step you into the full position.
The operation is growing and currently has 2 B206L4s, 4-407s and a Sk-76C++.

Job Requirements:
- Performing aircraft maintenance on turbine helicopters.
- Performing inspections.
- Other responsibilities assigned by director of maintenance.
- 1-2 years experience for Helicopter A&P Technician (Mechanic / AMT)
- 3 years experience with one year in Helicopter OR 1-2 Year Turbine Helicopter experience for the Sr. Helicopter A&P Technician
- Past Helicopter experience in Bell / Agusta / Sikorsky is preferable.
- A&P Mechanic license is required. Must be able to interpret and read schematics or technical drawings.
- Leadership/Management/Maintenance Planning/Forecasting a plus
- Training and personnel development experience
- Experience performing heavy maintenance and annual inspections.
- Must have their own tools
- Must have valid drivers license.
