Boeing Commercial Airplanes has an exciting opportunity for an Inspector Electrical & Electronic Sub Assembly B to join our team in Everett, WA.

Inspectors in this position perform inspection of fabrication processes and electrical for wire bundles fabrication and/or electronic assemblies to ensure conformity with drawings, specifications, documents, and quality standards.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Perform inspection of fabrication processes and assembly of electrical and/or electronic items to ensure that routing, alignment, fit, hookup, adjustment, identification, continuity and location of wire harnesses, cables, associated component parts, equipment and assemblies conform to drawings, specifications, diagrams, documents and quality standards

  • Conduct Process Monitoring to ensure correct processes are being followed during production

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing, to evaluate, develop and coordinate improvements in build processes, methods and procedures for defect reductions

  • Investigate and resolve all types of defect-related problems

  • Initiate, develop and implement project plans associated with product quality and defect reduction initiatives, including providing guidance to other employees

  • Perform special assignments, studies, and investigations necessary for efficient operation

  • Utilize peer to peer training to assist other employees on procedures, use of equipment, and interpretation of standards

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience as a Quality Inspector

  • Experience using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators

  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Electrical experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Typical Education:

High school graduate or GED preferred.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense, or This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift:

This position is for variable shifts.
