As a Fire Alarm Installation and Repair Technician atHoneywell, you will support the on-site installation, servicing, and repairprocesses of complex fire alarm equipment and systems. You will work underdirect supervision and may also work without supervision, following detailedwork instructions and escalating any discrepancies in customer requirements,blueprints, or work instructions. Your role will involve identifying,escalating, and exploring opportunities to improve installation or repairprocedures, as well as providing customer support and training on proper usagefor complex systems.

You can be based out of any location in the United Statesbut must be willing to travel 75 of the time across the US based or USterritory on project location for 2 - 3 weeks at a time.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect fire alarm equipment and systems for quality
  • Install or repair fire alarm equipment and systems according to work orders
  • Escalate any issues or discrepancies in customer requirements
  • Provide customer support and training on proper usage of complex systems

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of experience in fire alarm installation
  • NICET Level II Certification, with ability to acquire Level III within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to pass requirements for government background

WE VALUE

  • Previous industry experience, specifically with Notifier Fire Alarm Systems
  • Previous technical/installation experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
  • Bachelors degree or technical/professional certificate
  • Good presentation skills
