The FAA certified A&P Mechanic will provide top-notch maintenance and repairs to our part 135 fleet. Preferred experience working on: BN2B-20, Cessna TU206G, A185F, 170B. A&P required, IA preferred.
Pay depends on experience and skill level.
This position requires relocation to McCall, Cascade, or other closely surrounding areas.
Permanent full time position availability is required, but in down time you’re free to work on other projects.
Nestled on the edge of the Frank Church Wilderness, the largest wilderness in the lower 48, McCall is a prime location for outdoor enthusiasts and boasts limitless outdoor recreational activities. Hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, rock climbing, atv-ing, boating, hot springs, golfing, cliff jumping, huckleberry picking, skiing at any of 3 nearby resorts, snowmobiling, ice-fishing, etc. all 30 minutes or less from home.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations, in accordance with Company Maintenance SOP and Manufacturer/OEM approved data.
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, servicing, inspecting, modifying, and replacing procedures.
- Interpret technical manuals, maintenance information, service bulletins, and other specifications.
- Determines correct instruments or tools required to repair aircraft components and demonstrates acceptable skill level in using precision instruments, hand tools, gauges, shop, and testing equipment.
- Obtains routine parts for assigned work orders in a timely manner to ensure jobs are completed on time and on schedule.
- Maintain a vigilant tracking record of aircraft time as they approach required inspections and communicate approaching inspections with team members and the DOM.
- Completing all required paperwork and maintaining proficient records of maintenance in compliance with company and FAA rules and regulations.
