Aircraft Technician A

Contract Position

Responsibilities:
- Assist with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to specifications.
- Assist with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
- Work under supervision.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC)
- Aircraft Maintenance

- Retrofit Repair Modification & Maintenance
- Blueprint Reading
- Critical Thinking
- Troubleshooting
- Test Procedures
- Materials & Manufacturing: Assembly/Joining
- Microsoft - Outlook
- Flight Hardware
- Problem Solving
- Soldering Exp
- Small tools – tweezers, plyers, etc
- Work under magnification – working under microscope
