Position Summary

The FSR shall provide 1 year of CFSR support in Columbo, Sri Lanka to begin 1 month prior to aircraft arrival and for the 11 months following aircraft arrival. The CFSR shall support the MPA maintenance of the King Air 360 maritime patrol aircraft assigned to the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) at the designated primary support location, and other advanced avionics and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems delivered by providing:

  • Maintenance advising
  • Technical assistance
  • Customer Support
  • Logistics planning

*** This is for a 1-year contract, with the expectation to be on location in Columbo, Sri Lanka for the entire duration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • The FSR shall provide maintenance advising, technical assistance, customer support, and logistics planning for MPA maintenance of the King Air 360 ER and advanced avionics, as well as mission equipment onboard ISR aircraft. This includes, but not limited to, the air to ground radios, EO/IR sensor, mission computers, antennas, and any other associated equipment This position interfaces with Fixed-Wing Program Office (FWPO) and foreign government representatives regarding the use of local logistical infrastructure.
  • The CFSR may also be tasked to advise and assist in operational feedback to the SLAF on the routine and unscheduled maintenance requirements associated with the King Air 360 ER to maintain constant mission operational tempo in support of maritime patrol missions.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must be prior military trained MEP technician or aircraft avionics technician
  • Able to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs
  • Knowledge of MEP systems on proposed aircraft
  • The CFSR shall be fluent in English and capable of providing verbal and written support/instruction effectively in English.
  • Able to read and interpret, blueprints, tech data, SBs, ADs, Diagrams.
  • Shall have current and valid FAA certifications appropriate for maintenance, inspection, and repair/replacement of all MPA mission equipment and major components/subcomponents installed on the King Air 360ER aircraft.

Experience:

  • Five years minimum experience on similar systems

Education

The minimum level of education required is:

  • High school diploma

Other Qualifications

Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance
