Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for an Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Production Program Manager and STL Lead supporting the P-8 Program. The position is located in St. Louis, MO, with the contract being held out of Dallas, TX.

The AAS Program is a weapon subsystem to the P-8 platform. The position is within the Mobility and Surveillance portfolio. The AAS Production Program Manager and STL Lead is responsible for execution and delivery of all Products built and delivered to 3 customer bases. Two of the main contracts are with the US Government while one contract is a subcontract to another Defense Contractor.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading all AAS activities in St. Louis. Which includes being the onsite St. Louis lead for the cross functional team

  • Oversee execution of current contracts and capture of new business within Production Portfolio as a Prime contractor and subcontractor

  • This position reports directly to Special Projects Dallas Director and will also integrate within the greater P-8 ecosystem

  • Responsible for maintaining working relationships with external stakeholders such as US NAVY Program Office, DCMA, and internal/external suppliers to meet customer deliverables

  • In addition to profit loss responsibility, this position will play a integration role across Operations, Production Engineering, SEIT, Logistics, Supplier Management, Integrated Scheduling and Finance

  • Willingness to participate in the P-8 culture of loving music and constantly doing trivia, playing songs before start of meetings etc. when appropriate. It can be any music that you enjoy and must also live the P-8 Working Together “Principles and Practices

  • Responsible for partnering with the St. Louis site for common resources (Production Control, Industrial Engineering, etc.)

  • This position will work closely with the Sustainment Program Manager for work being completed within the St. Louis Operations and at remote locations

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

This position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in a Production System role

  • 5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects

  • Strong business acumen and relationship skills needed to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience of demonstrated strong program management leadership skills driving successful execution

  • Strong communication skills & ability to interface with senior level executives

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 25 of the time.

Summary pay range: $180,200 - $243,800
