STS Direct Hire is currently hiring an Avionics Sales Manager for a full-time position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Duties:
  • Cold calling & client prospecting
  • Manage new and assigned accounts for follow-on business
  • Establish customer relationships
  • Increase sales in respective accounts pursuant to agreed-to goals
  • Prepare sales information/quotes for customers/proposal preparation
  • Secure maintenance/avionics jobs taking into consideration delivery dates
  • Prepare weekly sales reports
  • Liaise with operation staff to ensure seamless handoff of new accounts
  • Meet minimum gross margin targets as established by management
  • Obtains and forwards market intelligence from customers, contacts, publications, etc. concerning competition, new product ideas, promotions, issues, industry trends and customer attitudes.
  • Manages dealer base in assigned territory with continuous review of sales performance.  Adds/deletes dealers as required.  Communicates regularly with dealers in assigned territory as to performance, sales, expectations, and improvements needed
  • Exercises good judgment and decision making when planning travel
  • Assists customers in resolution of problems by facilitating contact with other Avionics Systems internal resources
  • Provides timely follow-up on all customer activities
