Job Description:

Our client is a leading provider of Commercial Aircraft interior refurbishment, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we specialize in delivering top-tier solutions that ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our clients' aircraft fleets.

Position Overview:

As the Part 145 Repair Station Director, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our MRO located in Texas, USA. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of work throughout all repair station operations with the on-time delivery of all products to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures maintenance programs are followed during inspection and repair of aircraft.
  • Maintains technical manuals and reference material in a current status.
  • Assures the tracking of time life and scheduled maintenance items.
  • Maintains and secures maintenance records to FAA regulations on all aircraft.
  • Ensures all maintenance personnel, vendors, and contractors performing work on aircraft are covered by an approved Anti-Drug/Alcohol Abuse Program.
  • Responsible for updating maintenance personnel/training records for outside service clients.
  • Ensures all maintenance technicians are certified and supervised according to requirements specified in the FAR and other regulations.
  • Oversees and initiates requisitions for required stock, material, and ordering of parts for aircraft within the maintenance facility.
  • Ensures the maintenance of company-calibrated tool inventory.
  • Serves as liaison between the Company and related customers, clients, and FAA representatives.
  • Responsible for work order content and review on a timely basis.
  • Manage schedule to include necessary coverage on various shifts as needed.
  • Review all documents before their submission to the FAA.
  • Identify opportunities to fabricate and or develop repairs for customer products.
Job Requirements:
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in the aerospace industry, with a focus on MRO operations.
  • A&P Mechanic License
  • Experience with interior components including plastics, seating, composites, upholstery and soft goods is preferable.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to lead teams, drive results, and inspire excellence.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems.
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements required in maintaining aviation products
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
