What does this role look like?
The Expedite Team Manager will be responsible for providing leadership of the Team to effectively ensure Central Procurement supplier hardware deliveries are received on time in support of program requirements. The manager will ensure the Expedite Team pursues the critical priorities as identified by the Program Material Managers (PMMs). Additional tasks include performing necessary training, oversight of issue resolution, and identifying strategic initiatives.
This role will offer you the following daily challenges:
Monitoring/management of internal organizational performance, and performance reporting to functional and program management. The Expedite Team Manager function also includes the monitoring of supplier performance, expediting of supplier deliveries when required, and other strategic engagement activities. Additional tasks may be assigned as required by the Category Manager.
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in (Denver, Valley Forge, Sunnyvale or Huntsville) and be expected to work in the office as needed, and as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• 8+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management)
Desired Skills:
To be successful, ideally, you should also have:
• Knowledge of LM Space Programs.
• Exposure to a category management environment.
• Experience with the acquisition of aerospace electrical and mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems
• Demonstrated proactive/strategic approach to project management with a track record of success.
• Demonstrated experience using performance metrics, applying data analysis techniques,
• Demonstrated business acumen.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work independently without appreciable direction.
• Must demonstrate the ability to influence and inspire through teamwork and collaboration.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Must possess an aptitude for positive behaviors that align with initiatives towards delivering Results, Shape the Future, Build Effective Relationships, Energize the Team, Model Personal Excellence.
• Working knowledge of SAP/ERP/P2P
• MS Project/Scheduling Experience; MS PowerPoint
• Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers

• Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $91,300 - $175,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $105,000 - $197,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
