1 Years’ experience in Aircraft operation/operational documentation, civil/military regulations, performance & computerized calculation techniques.

1 years’ experience in aircraft Flight Preparation. Management/preparation of associated data.

Nice to have: Training and experience in A400M tools for Flight Operation Documentation, Performance, EFB and Mission Preparation (FODM, PAT, ODYS, FlySmart, MPRS.

The Local Flight Operations Specialist shall the assist the customer in the activities listed below:

Support to the definition of the Flight Operations workflows and activities to ensure the correct performance of the Flight Operation Support office Support to the installation of the Flight Operations Tools, and the implementation and transition to new tools versions Act as an entry point for any Flight Ops related topic or query requiring contact with Airbus Defence and Space central back office.

The Local Flight Operations Specialist shall the assist the customer in the activities listed below:

Support to the use of MPRS (Mission Planning and Restitution System) functions, acting as a link between the operator and the MPRS Back Office to require clarifications and support when needed. Provision of practical skills enhancement to ensure the transfer of knowledge to nominated operator personnel, such personnel having first successfully completed all the required and related MPRS courses.

The Local Flight Operations Specialist shall the assist the customer in the activities listed below:

Incorporation of the operational manuals revisions produced by Airbus Defence and Space into operator’s documentation. Nationalization of the operational manuals using inputs from the customer. Electronic publication of nationalized versions of the operational manuals, in formats ready to be uploaded into the relevant flight operations tools. Local point of contact in relation to flight operations documentation management issues, functional use of associated tools and any related continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in the development and documentation of Flight Operations Documentation Management processes. Provision of practical skills enhancement to ensure the transfer of knowledge to nominated operator personnel, such personnel having first successfully completed the required “Airbus FODM Course”.

(A)        Incorporation of the performance data revisions produced by Airbus Defence and Space into the associated flight operations performance tools.

(B)        Local point of contact in relation to performance management issues, functional use of associated tools and any related continuous improvement initiatives.

(C)        Assist in the development and documentation of Performance Management processes.

(D)        Provision of practical skills enhancement to ensure the transfer of knowledge to nominated operator personnel, such personnel having first successfully completed the required “A400M PAT Course”; “A400M PEP Course.

(A)        Configuration control of EFB hardware and loaded software tools and data, and managing and archiving the configuration status of all EFBs.

(B)        Collection of applicable nationalised performance data packages for EFBs.

(C)        Collection of updated and nationalised airport and obstacle data packages for EFBs.

(D)        Collection of updated or nationalized flight operations manuals packages for EFBs.

(E)        Collection of updated electronic charts data packages for EFBs..

(F)        Collection of any additional compatible data to be loaded onto EFBs according to a operator’s request.

(G)       Collection of any updates and upgrades of the FlySmart (suite of EFB software applications).

(H)        Nationalisation of the EFB homepage, as agreed with the operator.

(I)          Data integrity and compatibility checking before uploading onto EFBs.

(J)         Generation of the EFB data packages.

(K)        Loading of EFB data packages and issuing of EFBs to aircrew in a “ready to use” condition.

(L)        Erasing of data from EFBs post flight, as specified by the operator and using procedures agreed.

(M)       Co-ordination with end-users of EFBs, as required.

(N)        Local point of contact in relation to EFB management issues and any related continuous improvement initiatives.

(O)       Assist in the development and documentation of EFB administration processes.

(P)        Provision of practical skills enhancement to ensure the transfer of knowledge to nominated operator personnel, such personnel having first successfully completed the required EFB administration course: ”Airbus EFB Administration course.
