Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring Flightline Operations Senior Managers (Level L) to support the team in Everett, Washington on multiple shifts.

This position requires extensive aircraft knowledge, leading a multi-functional team, managing site performance, financial measures, and ensuring first-time quality and employee safety. This leader will collaborate with site leadership daily in coordinating aircraft movement, fueling operations, safety requirements, staffing changes, and the execution of operational plans and site activities.

An effective senior manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes safety, quality, accountability, trust, and teamwork.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that air vehicles are complete and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery.

  • Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance.

  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.

  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.

  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees and first-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5&43; years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

  • 3&43; years of experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership.

  • 3&43; years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.

  • Experience working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, quality, and cost.

  • Ability to travel 10 of the time.

  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

 Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License.

  • Experience with Field & Ramp Operations.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $136,850 - $177,100
