Boeings Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Mobility and Surveillance Human Resources (HR) team seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team in Everett, Washington. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Senior Level HR Generalist to find the best fit for this position.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, inclusive team aimed at shaping the future of HR at Boeing to drive business value for the KC-46A Tanker program and the Business Operations team.


The KC-46A Tanker Pegasus is a wide body, multirole 767 derivative aircraft that can refuel U.S., allied and coalition military aircrafts mid-air. The KC-46 is designed to carry passengers, cargo and patients. The aircraft can detect, avoid, defeat and survive threats using multiple layers of protection. You will have the direct opportunity to enable the talent to build and design this amazing capability for the warfighter.

The Business Operations team is focused on digital transformation, enabling business management system, tools, and processes that will further stabilize and transform MS&B.


As a key member of the leadership team, you will gain strong understanding of the business imperatives of the program to unleash the power of our talent in all functions. You will also support and partner with leaders at all levels - management to non-management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with the KC-46 VP Program Manager and executive leadership team and the Business Operations Senior Management leadership team to develop integrated HR initiatives and solutions to enable the business (including workforce planning and talent pipeline development)

  • Provide consultation and coaching to employees at all levels (management to non-management) on HR practices, processes as well as utilizing conflict resolution techniques to ensure team cohesion

  • Champion Boeings Enterprise Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) commitments by developing a (DE&I) plan specific to the KC-46A Tanker program

  • Use business intel to advocate on the behalf of the program to secure resources and any help needed from our functional partners

  • Effectively partner across the broader HR organization to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business. Influence the Mobility and Surveillance (M&S) HR priorities, organizational structure, and long-range business plans including affordability/productivity, skill and talent discussions, development programs, resource deployment, etc.

  • Create engagement plans to cultivate an inclusive work environment

  • Lead division level projects supporting the MS&B People Plan

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in Human Resources

  • 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 5+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • Human Resources Certification

  • Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner experience

  • 1+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

  • Capability to adapt to changing scope, responsibilities and job requirements

  • Change leader with demonstrated strength in working in matrixed teams and executing streamlined solutions for complex business challenges

  • Strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills, talent management experience, collaboration, independent judgment and the ability to influence others

  • Consultant who knows how to influence others, develop and maintain working relationships, and deliver results and expertise for a business partner in a professional manner

  • Experience with data analytics, identifying trends, escalating risks/concerns, and develop recommendations

Typical Education & Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience.  Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4)

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level3): $87,550 - $118,450

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $111,350-$150,650
