Job Summary


As the Integrated Logistics Support Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, identification, and development of all the support system requirements for military systems. You will contribute directly and lead our team to deliver high quality acquisition and sustainment of products and services.

We are seeking an Integrated Logistics Support leader to support the design, development, testing, and qualification of products supporting the US Army and foreign militaries. Primarily, these are ground-based weapon systems or personnel carriers. This position is in Huntsville, Alabama with direct support to our facility in Melbourne, Florida. Travel is expected at approximately 10.

You will work with and manage a small team of logistics professionals to define support requirements, plan for life cycle sustainment, and produce logistics products in accordance with US Army standards or the Foreign Military Sales office requirements.  As a contributing logistician and leader, you will participate in direct program support while guiding and directing the efforts of our team.

 


Job Responsibilities



  • Lead and contribute to the development of logistics support plans; maintenance task analyses; Level of Repair Analyses; Reliability, Availability, Maintainability assessments; product support analyses and data generation, and logistics product data summaries.

  • Review Statements of Work for logistics requirements, consistency to work estimates, and guide logistics efforts to timely completion.

  • Facilitate the development, submission, and verification / validation of technical manuals and detailed training plans and programs. Coordinate with external contractors and/or customer personnel when hosting technical manual verification / validation exercises.

  • Develop mil-spec technical documentation to include Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals.

  • Create training materials, including “train the trainer” content, and student notes.

  • Develop logistics related documents, plans, and reports; draft technical papers; focus, teach, and guide project teams; monitor cost and schedule of projects; participate in project evaluations; respond to customer inquiries; and verify product technical quality.

  • Create and/or update internal processes that direct logistics activities.

  • Provide direct support to Program Managers and technical leaders on all logistics efforts.

  • Conduct hiring actions, establish employee goals and objectives, monitor performance, and facilitate employee recognition activities.


Job Requirements:
Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience and Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent minimum, master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience supervising or leading teams and/or projects.
  • Direct experience providing general logistics support for military acquisition programs. Recognized authority on logistics products and services.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of PowerLOG-J and Haystack Gold.
  • Experience working within matrixed teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Active Clearance a plus
  • 10% travel is expected
