Lockheed Martin RMS and Derco, a Lockheed Martin Company, are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Program Manager who is looking for an international assignment. The program manager will interface directly with the customer (a Japanese MRO), the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF), and other key parties as required to ensure the successful logistics and supply chain execution for a C-130 PBL program based in Kanagawa, Japan. In addition, the program manager will coordinate via email, teleconference, and other means as appropriate with the rest of the PBL Program team based in the USA as part of supporting contract execution. Strong communication and time management skills as well as the ability to effectively coordinate with virtual teams spread around the world will be key requirements for this position.

**This position is reflective of a 30 month period of performance related to the existing contract. Opportunities beyond the 30 month period are dependent on future contract negotiations and performance.**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Primary customer contact for day-to-day operations and maintaining the program Action Item Tracker.
• Support of business development and capture activities for Japan and other markets as needed.
• Collaboration on and monitoring performance of Statements of Work.
• Monitors program performance and risks, identifies problem areas/ opportunities for improvement, and recommends solutions for the program.
• Assistance in tracking program KPIs, financial performance, and preparing for internal program reviews
• Act as the onsite Logistic Support Representative (LSR) responsible for managing issues related to Derco supplied inventory and unserviceable core returns moving through the in-country warehouse.
• Provide programs and logistical support to the onsite Field Service Representative (FSR) as required to meet the technical requirements of the program.
• Coordination with the Japan Lockheed Martin International office as needed to support program execution and other Derco activities.

Successful candidate will have demonstrated leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment with internal and external customers. Key qualifications include:

• Program/ Project Management experience
• Strong communications skills and demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Proven ability to successfully work with geographically dispersed teams with a record of delivering positive results.
• Possess strong financial acumen.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders with differing goals and objectives.
• Experience defining and executing new business strategy.
• Must be able to excel in fast-paced, high-demand environments with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
•Must be willing and able to travel (CONUS and OCONUS) as required.
• The ability to access US and/ or Japan military facilities as well as experience working and operating on them.
Desired Skills:
• Proven experience executing international sustainment and/ or PBL contracts
• Fluent in Japanese or be willing and able to develop Japanese language abilities to support program execution
• Prior experience with Japanese customers and international business
• Advanced business acumen including the ability to investigate, comprehend, and interpret complex business challenges, and think and act both strategically and tactically

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
