Description:This IT Program Manager role within the Common Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Center of Excellence (CoE) in Enterprise Operations (EO) will be responsible for managing and continuously improving a portfolio of products and services that are used throughout all Business Areas within the Lockheed Martin business. Successful candidates will partner closely with functional stakeholders in Production Operations and Supply Chain to deliver transformational capabilities in support of the OneLM vision and accelerate value to Business Area first mover programs. The IT Program manager will be expected to:
- Oversee day to day operations for a MES product team, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget
- Lead a MES Product IT team through agile sprint planning and execution
- Lead Daily/Weekly status/standup meetings
- Provide Status to the MES Program Manager and other stakeholders
- Has the responsibility, accountability, and authority to lead and execute IT strategy, ensuring solutions and operational services are cost effectively developed and delivered to meet program requirements.
- The position performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, along with cost, risk, and support assessments, and performs effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Provide input to budget plans and estimates
- Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
- Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines
- Assure Internal IT Process (IITP) Compliance -Assure compliance in the design of IT systems with LM security policies for protection of Export Controlled Information.
- Works under only general direction.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in Program Management, Planning, and Scheduling
- Experience in one or more Lockheed MES Systems
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate with passion
- Demonstrated ability to lead, prioritize, and complete complex projects
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new processes/technologies
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in agile methodologies and frameworks, including SAFE, Scrum, Kanban, and the ability to tailor those frameworks as needed
- Experience using/administering Apriso MES or other MES system
- Experience working with Production Operations and Supply Chain stakeholders
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile Hive
- Strong project management and finance skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
