Job Description:

Job Summary:
The Manager, Warehouse and Inventory is responsible for the overall leadership, guidance, and management of the team responsible for all warehousing, including but not limited to, receiving, parts distribution, transportation to customers and outside processors, cycle counting and physical inventory functions. This position closely interacts with all levels of staff and management, including executive leadership, and reports to the Director, Supply and Planning.




Responsibilities: 


Manage 2 supervisors and 1 individual contributor directly.


·Lead 3 shift warehouse operation.

·Oversee receiving, internal distribution, picking, kitting, shipping, transportation and cycle counting functions.

·Manage annual physical inventory.

·Procurement of packaging and dunnage materials.

·Collaborate with union leadership and administer provisions of collective bargaining agreement.

·Coordinate with customer service, production control, procurement, and sales to ensure customer requirements are achieved.

·Develop and maintain department training records.

·Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

·Participate in audits as required.

·Recruiting, coaching, training, developing directing, and counseling salaried supervisors and collective bargaining unit personnel.

·Develop and improve operations to provide on time delivery internally and externally and maintain a high degree of accuracy and safety.

·Implement corrective actions towards internal audit findings.

·Ensure GAAP compliance in all areas of operations.

·Reduce inventory discrepancies

-98 inventory accuracy, 98 on time shipment, 98 shipment accuracy

-Lead the implementation of solutions  including WMS.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications: 

·Bachelor’s degree required.

·7-10 years of professional experience preferred.

·Preference for individuals with management experience in warehousing, logistics and inventory control.

·Technical experience with ERP, MRP, WMS and TMS preferred.

·Strong Microsoft office skills.

·Strong leadership, communication and team building skills.

·Knowledge of Oracle, MRP/MPS

·WMS/RF experience

Extensive logistic knowledge including domestic, international, import, export across multiple modes of transportation.
