Description:Responsible for site leadership and management of RMS Stratford calibration operations with capability to maintain and/or implement compliance to ISO 17025 and ANSI Z540 metrology standards. Responsible for managing personnel, staffing, budget, capital, and lab operations for the RMS Stratford Metrology location. Position is considered to be a key member of a larger RMS Metrology team to drive improvements across the RMS Metrology Enterprise. Must have knowledge of supporting industry, standards, and key suppliers. Provides technology forecasting, workload balancing, personnel development, and team building. Proven experience in risk identification, mitigation, and compliance to calibration standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated Leadership skills managing both technical and personnel aspects with cross site collaboration. Proven knowledge of calibration principles and philosophies. Experience in either the development or supporting role of strategic planning and management of large budgets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Complex data analysis skills with proven collaboration with Customers and cross-functional teams. College degree in related discipline.
Desired Skills:
Calibration lab management experience with ability to assess measurement uncertainties and/or in the stand-up or management of ISO 17025 compliant laboratories. Statistical data analysis skills to drive measurement effectiveness and accuracy, system improvements and affordability. Direct experience in managing Quality Assurance requirements and process execution. IndySoft experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
