SUMMARY:

The resource will be responsible to provide the delivery of services related to fleet data analysis, enhanced monitoring, aircraft diagnostics and predictive services, either supported by or working in close coordination and collaboration with CSS&T front and back office functions, as well as Engineering functions; investigate and exploit potential data correlation of different data sources to develop advanced data analytics to support business function analyses. As the DST tower is expected to grow enlarging its boundaries of supports services, the resource will be the manager of the function with its resources. The resource will be functionally reporting to Heli Diagnostic & Predictive Maintenance Services Integrated Team (Ref. LH-ON.109.22) to who will interact actively on a day by day and even more during the initial set-up phase.

The resource will operate within a cross geographic mandate together with other dedicated Geo-based Team Members, to deliver Geo-based services related to fleet data analysis, enhanced monitoring, h/c diagnostics (Health & Usage) and predictive services, necessary to ensure competences and resources to sustain advanced services delivery and having focus on definition and shaping of advanced services portfolio peculiar to each geography.

The resource will also be responsible for managing the initial set-up of the “Diagnostic Service Tower" (DST) in collaboration with other involved departments in Italy and AWPC.

Set the basis to provide the delivery of the advanced services, defining roles and competences necessary to fulfil the delivery of such services and related training requirements and implementation model

Provide governance and evolution strategy of advanced services to be delivered, ensuring coherence and harmonization with LH Digital Transformation roadmap and go-to-market strategy

Define and manage service delivery priorities, service level definition and relevant KPI’s.

4.

Liaise and provide feedback and/or requirement for improvement to the Integrated Project Team, taking benefit from on field experience of delivery functions

Liaise with Geographies to set up the cross geo approach to the delivery of the services

6.

 Provide support to the responsible functions within the IPT in order to assure the validation and verification of  data is consistent with model and contribute in the definition of potential future evolution of predictive services and usage monitoring with “certification credit” purposes

7.

Provide support to the responsible functions within the IPT in maintaining, updating and enhancing the databases needed for the monitoring of the in-service fleet operational data (i.e. flight hours, fleet availability figures) and reliability data. This in support of and acting as a collector of requirement from the AWPC based functions who will benefit of the managed data.

8.

Manage resources and communications effectively within the CSS&T organization. Ensure the presence of a robust initial and recurring training plan to guarantee the continued development, growth and process adherence for the assigned team.  Escalate major issues and solutions; communicate team status and KPI’s to management.

Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for Position

         A. Education

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering (Aeronautics/Mechanics/Electronics/Information technology) or equivalent industry experience and background
  • Basics of descriptive and inferential statistics theory
  • Digital basis competencies (MS suite, CRM, Power BI); basic Skills in Python or equivalent coding languages is recommended

 

         B. Experience

  • 5 years’ minimum experience preferably operating in an Engineering / Maintenance / Simulation & Training / Data Analysis based business.
  • Previous experience in customer facing roles in an aeronautical industry/environment recommended
  • Previous internal experience within LH Engineering, CSS&T, or Digital transformation is a plus.
