Description:Lockheed Martin Corporate Mission Development and Integration (MDI), is seeking an experienced, energetic Operations Lead with a technical background to drive tactical execution, identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities, and enable scaling of a diverse portfolio of campaigns across the organization, reporting to the Director of Mission Capabilities (MC).

The MC Operations Lead will be half-time matrixed to the Mission Roadmapping Lead, with responsibilities to include:

• Developing and managing a methodology for maintenance and continued execution of completed roadmap products with partners across MC, CTO, and BA technical, program office, and S&BD teams
• Supporting and refining an approach and implementation to partner with BA teams on new roadmap triage efforts
• Partnering with Global Business & Strategy (GBDS) and Corporate Research & Technology (R&T) to evaluate, track, and utilize data on enterprise investments and competitive intelligence mapped to mission roadmaps
• Supporting day-to-day operations of the Mission Roadmap Team and continuous improvement initiatives to scale mission roadmapping across Lockheed Martin.

The MC organization consists of three teams: Strategic Operations Analysis, Mission Roadmapping, and Capability Integration. As core duties in a part-time capacity, the MC Operations Lead will:

• Manage organizational rhythms and technical, budget, and schedule discipline across MC, as well as in partnership with the Mission Operations organization within MDI, across the Corporate Technology Organization (CTO), and with Business Area (BA) teams
• Work closely with team leads to improve data exchange, refine interfaces, and increase collaboration across the MC teams and partner organizations
• Support the MC Director and leads to develop and deliver reports, presentations, and other deliverables to the Executive Leadership Team, Chief Technology Officer, LM Decision Bodies, and other senior leaders.

The ideal candidate must be able to work autonomously and dynamically on a series of short- and long-term projects, act as a thought leader, and build strong relationships with corporate-wide mission analysis, engineering & technology, and strategy & business development personnel to enhance the breadth and depth of MC products and integrate them across the corporation to support Corporate and Business Area leadership. The MC Operations Lead must be able to adapt to evolving priorities and new tasking from senior leaders not specifically aligned to one of the three MC teams and will lead special assignments and actions initiated by other group leads to support successful execution of the MC portfolio.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
• Engineering or technical experience
• Project, program, and/or portfolio management experience
• Familiarity with the operational environment of the DoD or Intelligence Community
• Experience working across a large, multi-organizational team or between Business Areas
• Ability to build consensus across a diverse set of stakeholders
• Active Secret Clearance, with eligibility for TS/SCI

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
