OneSat Digital Payload Software Delivery Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Digital Payload Software Delivery Manager (f/m) to join our Digital Payload Center of Competence of Space System Engineering based in Toulouse, France.

Within the new Digital Payload Center of Competence of Space System Engineering Organisation, you will join the transnational entity (France, Germany and United Kingdom) in charge of design, development and validation of Digital Payload Systems.

In the frame of the development of a major Telecom Programme, as a Delivery Manager you will be responsible of the delivery of qualified processing chains (mission SW).

As such, you will:

• Secures & ensures delivery OQOTOC of missionised validated products
• Ensures an effective coordination with System Engineering, Missionisation, Recurring Delivery, Products & Quality Assurance
• Ensures an effective coordination with tests stakeholders all along phases
• Ensure that the developments are led following a product line policy, closely managing the delta.

• Is in charge of products development, validation & deliveries with a clear identification of the critical path &61;> Master schedule delegation
• Supports the delivery voice for planning to end Customers
• Is in charge of coordinating with IVV  stakeholders the products validation and delivery
• Is in charge of and anticipates material delivery and deployment for the products validation on time
• Secures costs within deliveries stakeholders with a monthly consolidation and report, each Delivery Manager being responsible of her/his EAC with KPI updates, non quality tracking, risks and correlated actions
• Analyses and implements ECR vs deliveries
• Assures a very  close collaboration with the System Engineering Team 
• Ensures that the whole development is done following a product line policy through missionisation concept, maintenance policy and product regulatory compliance
• Supports the Bid Team for cost assessment
• Reports to Project Manager on Program line and to Head Of Digital payload Processing Delivery on Engineering line

• High Experience in Project management and strong engineering skills
• Experience in digital payload, Software development and telecommunication Satellites
• Ability to understand and drive the various aspects of managing a customer-oriented program in complex environment (technology, partnerships, customers, subcontractors)
• Good technical knowledge (telecommunication) and ability to synthesize information

• Strong capability in communication and stakeholder management.

• Adaptable to a fast, dynamic and changing environment

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

The Job is based in France, Toulouse (Palays). It requires travels in UK.
