Job Description SummaryIn this role, you will be responsible for assuring that GE Separation changes to the digital infrastructure, platform, applications, and tools are successfully dispositioned while securing GE Aerospace’s Supply Chain critical capabilities to deliver on-time and with quality to our customers. You will be required to effectively prioritize and coordinate multiple interdependent separation related projects and advise on key decisions impacting the Supply Chain portfolio of applications and services. Additionally, you will be accountable for financial planning, vendor relations, performance & availability escalations, and critical internal operating rhythms across all the existing products and services. This role is critical to optimizing our total cost of ownership and time to value for the Digital Supply Chain by establishing strategic multi-generational system plans, eliminating technical obsolescence, and enabling renewal and refresh processes rigor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Program Management or IT

Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategy and enterprise vision for Digital Supply Chain on all GE Separation initiatives, working closely with the Digital Supply Chain staff on key decisions, while also keeping them informed and engaged so they can proactively prioritize separation work for their teams.
  • Working collaboratively across all GE Separation work streams, continuously assess and scope the potential impact to Supply Chain of ongoing Separation decisions and changes; drive appropriate new project initiation, funding, sourcing, and staffing to execute required actions or abatements.
  • Deliver on Day1-critical projects and activities to assure successful GE Separation as first priority; deliver on all other separation-driven projects per agreed timelines and TSA exit dates; execute projects using GE Separation PMO standards to assure accurate tracking, dependencies & risk management, as well as escalations.
  • Act as a change agent where app rationalization or simplification approaches are faster or cheaper than “like for like” separation dispositions; additionally, build a simplification strategy for post-separation to quickly yield productivity and cost savings when GE Aerospace is stand-alone.
  • Define the standard work and drive financial stewardship of the Digital Supply Chain across all initiatives and operations, working closely with the Digital Supply Chain staff on key decisions, while also keeping them informed and engaged so they can proactively reprioritize as forecasts adjust for their teams.
  • Own the new actuals to forecast variance KPI. Collect savings levers across key programs with associated business impact quantification. Determine necessary leadership reviews and provide decision guidance. Collect from staff what reviews need to be done to determine if reduction levers need to be executed.
  • Propose, communicate, validate, and implement standard work with DSC staff for contemporary software delivery and support methodologies.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in GE Aerospace digital technology and established peer network
  • Familiarity of GE Corporate, GE Vernova and GE Aerospace infrastructure, network, digital tools and applications that can influence our spend and execution through the formal separation period and beyond.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence EBs and below on their decisions
  • Collaborative skills that build trust across teams through competence, reliability, sincerity and caring
  • Comfort in ambiguity - manages uncertainty for self and team
  • Passion to mentor and coach colleagues.
