THEPOSITION
This role willdrive the near-term and long-term product roadmap for expansion of  Life Sciences apps suite, work closely with peers and customers to evaluate lifesciences regulatory landscape market problems, identify product enhancementopportunities, potential disruptors, P&L analysis for profitable growth todrive product portfolio. In this role the incumbent will also interact withcustomers, engage in business case analysis and be the unifying force behindproduct strategy and execution, combining feedback from sales, marketing,development, customers and prospects to bring solutions that impact ourclients business.

This rolereports to the Chief Product Officer of Honeywell Connected Life Sciences andis based in one of our hub locations in Hamilton, New Jersey or Atlanta,Georgia.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the life science manufacturing and quality value chain including trends, key players and potential disruptions
  • Assesses market position to define vision and strategy for the product area, including adjacent workstreams and new target markets
  • Assess competitive landscape to establish detailed competitive analysis to Influence product roadmap
  • Identifies and translates key market needs into near term and long term product roadmap
  • Lead cross functional team to execute on product roadmap
  • Utilizes customer and market input to define new product opportunities, refine product roadmap and rationalize investment spend vs. ROIC
  • Present recommendations to senior leadership
  • Leverage product management expertise to develop strategic relationship with customer and independent market analysts
  • Optimize investment/spend against business priorities

BASICQUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years experience in Product Management
  • 5+ years experience managing SaaS solutions

PREFERRED

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, engineering, or other relevant area of study.  MBA or post-graduate qualifications and professional memberships will be preferred.
  • 2+ years experience of product management expertise driving the product portfolio in Life Sciences or related areas (pharmaceutical, medical device, biopharmaceutical)
  • 2+ years experience managing a team with direct and indirect reporting responsibilities
  • Business acumen and experience in project management and commercial aspects of professional services for SaaS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative leadership and entrepreneurial track record in software, technology space
  • Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
