Then the position as Project Manager within logistics will be ideal for you. The position is located in Kastrup, Copenhagen. 

What the job is …

You will work in a team with 11 people located around the globe in Europe, Asia and US and your main tasks in our Logistics and Repair organization will be:  

  • global to local evaluation, forecasting and alignment of warehouse capacity needs with our product management, supply chain and other stakeholders.

  • identifying and introducing best fit storage and transportation solutions

  • driving continuous improvement and standardization in close collaboration with global warehouse leaders.

  • defining standards of material handling equipment and material flows for all sites. 

  • building & executing project management plans including the set-up and monitoring of related investment budgets.

For this position, you can expect 3-4 weeks of travel per year.

How you will contribute to the team

The ideal candidate has a degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or similar and 5&43; years of experience within this area.

You bring motivation and experience to optimize logistic footprints (material flows, building adaptations, footprint studies) with corresponding knowledge of respective technologies (semi- & fully automated logistics storage solutions).

We are looking for someone who is able to work in a very structured manner, motivated by having many touchpoints and stakeholders internally and externally. A strong business acumen as well as proficiency in project management standards (ideally certified e.g. PMP) will round off your profile.

It would be an advantage, if you are able to work within a multicultural & -functional environment pushing topics proactively until resolving with the ability to identify standardization opportunities and ensure a proper implementation.

Due to the international environment, an excellent command of both written and spoken English is obligatory. Knowledge of other foreign languages such as German, Danish or French would be beneficial.
