Purpose: Manages and administers sales activities for a specified territory.

Core Responsibilities:

Sells company products and services through distributors and/or direct sales.
Maintains sales programs within assigned territory by keeping distributors/customers informed about products and prices.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of products and services.
Responsible for meeting established sales quotas and conformance with annual budget.
Analyzes and prepares sales forecasts and reports.
Maintains constant awareness of markets, competitor activities and problems with assigned area; develop solutions and remedial plans to overcome challenges, recognizes trends that develop and takes corrective action.
Proven track records meeting and exceeding financial targets.
Develop territory sales plans, sales forecast, and successful execution.
Regular performance reviews and evaluations of channel partners/distributors
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor&39;s degree in business, marketing, or engineering preferred.
Minimum of five years proven technical sales and sales management experience.
Possess strong technical knowledge/aptitude, power generation and utility industries experience.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deals.
Strong contract negotiations and proposal generation.
Strong connections and strong knowledge with OEMs products.
Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Independent and self-starter.
Multilingual is a plus.
