Description:Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area is seeking a Security Manager to lead the Special Programs team in Troy, AL. The candidate will have oversight of SAP security professionals that support multiple programs.

Successful candidate must be comfortable with independent decision-making, possess a high degree of individual initiative and organizational skills, and function with minimal supervision.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data.
- Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. Performs in leadership roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Special Access Programs (SAP).
- Serves as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO). Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (DoDM 5205.07) (ICDs).
- Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations.
- Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program.
- Ensures construction of SAPF projects are completed IAW ICD 705 and customer guidance.
- Responsible for all aspects of security to include management of DD-254, personnel, physical, technical, classification management, and customer engagements.
- Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials.
- Develops and conducts security education classes.
- Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
- Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
- Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.

Must be able to effectively communicate with executive-level leadership. An extensive understanding of DoD security methodologies, policies and procedures is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience / combined education
- This position requires applicants to have a Final Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last six years.
- Extensive Special Access Program (SAP) security experience
- Previous security leadership experience

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

- Program Security experience in a dynamic environment with multiple facilities.
- Experience working in production and/or manufacturing environments.
- Facility accreditation experience.
- JADE familiarity.
- Classified shipments.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
