Position overview:

The Senior Export Compliance Officer will report directlyto the Director of Export Compliance and be a trusted partner to our ExportControls program, with specific emphasis to ensure Honeywell has abest-in-class program for compliance with the U.S. Arms Export Control Act andInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations, addressing licensing, systemcontrols, policies and procedures, training, transactions, and audits. Thisrole will have particular emphasis in managing our Department of Commerceexport authorizations post approval recordkeeping requirements and supportinghealth checks and audits.

Key responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare high volume of export licenses applications.
  • Process EXPIDS and export licenses reviews.
  • Manage Honeywells Department of Commerce (DOC) post approval recordkeeping requirements across all Business Groups
  • Support export authorization post approval requirements such as on-boarding of authorization owners, training and validation of action
  • Conduct peer review of DOC export applications
  • Manage the Export Compliance Authorization Management SharePoint site
  • Provide export advice to Honeywells business teams - both strategic and tactical
  • Engage with other members of Export Compliance organization and businesses to ensure export compliance requirements are adopted
  • Develop, review, update, and implement comprehensive export compliance procedures, forms, guidebooks, agreement control plans and training in support of consent agreement corrective actions
  • Create and report metrics and KPIs to leadership
  • Support and lead consent agreement corrective actions, including audits
  • Support export compliance investigations
MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in business field
  • 4 years of experience working for a multinational company or a U.S. defense contractor
  • Familiar with U.S. Trade Regulations or U.S. Government Contracting Regulations such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Strong system capabilities such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
