Prime Air is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to drive organizational business cadence and mechanisms and provide director and VP program management support to ensure on-time deliverable and goal completion. This role requires excellent leadership skills to build trust and drive alignment.

The desired candidate will possess a business operations background, have demonstrated experience supporting organizations up to director and VP levels, and be able to operate in ambiguous and technically complex spaces. They will be responsible for driving standard business mechanisms for the organization and cross-functional mechanisms and integration between engineering, product, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, human resources, and regulatory organizations to deliver to complex schedules to ensure on-time completion of program milestones. You are an effective written and verbal communicator and adept at communicating to executives, up to and including VPs. You are relentlessly organized, a bar-raising Amazon writer, and can juggle competing priorities across a complex organization with high visibility to customers and stakeholders. This role sits in a central Program Management Team.

Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute program level mechanisms to succinctly define program status, risks, help needed, and metrics to Sr. Leadership

- Work with Technical Program Managers (TMPs) and Program Managers (PMs) across the organization to deliver on Prime Air Goals
- Work with Sr. Leadership and PM/TPM teams to create, implement, and drive mechanisms that improve execution and communication
- Develop and maintain relationship with Business Partners, including finance, human resources, trade compliance, and legal.

Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working on aerospace products / projects- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- MBA, or Master's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
