Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (level 4) to join the BPS Quality People and Talent Team in Everett or Renton, WA.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing quality-related projects within the organization and oversight of the overall portfolio of improvements in work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects, with a strong ability to partner and execute through influence for positive outcomes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables

  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry.

  • Develop and manage a portfolio process to ensure successful prioritization, resource commitment and completion of all organization projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders to identify project requirements and ensure alignment with quality objectives

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting quality awareness and driving process enhancements

  • Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support as needed

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive-level management

  • 5+ years of experience in a role that required organizational skills with the capability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects

  • 10+ years of experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Operations or Project/Program Management

  • 10+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • PMP certification

  • Experience with Data Analytic tools (Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Experience collecting, interpreting data, and leading high-level projects for Executives or Senior leadership

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $115,000 - $125,000
