We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Contracts Leader to join the National Security Space (NSS) line of business supporting a diverse and exciting portfolio that continues to expand. The Navigation Systems and Globally Responsive Space Ground Senior Contracts Manager will lead a team of contracts management professionals supporting existing and future contracts with domestic and international customers.

In this dynamic role the candidate will:



• Implement Prime contract strategies consistent with Corporate and Business Area strategic imperatives.
• Provide highly visible leadership to the mission segment and portfolio personnel to ensure the team develops flexible strategies to support enterprise needs.
•The candidate will develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure positive and constructive interactions both internally and externally
• The candidate will act as an advocate for diversity and inclusion and create opportunities for positive employee engagement.
• The candidate will manage and provide leadership for activities associated with contract responsibilities including but not limited to: preparation and contract negotiations; assessment of terms and conditions to ensure the corporation is protected from unusual risk and that strategy supports the mission area long-range plan
• The candidate will work cross-functionally with different stakeholders in the organization, including, engineering, business development, legal, procurement, finance, tax, and accounting to ensure projects and deal meet program and corporate command media.

Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of US Government customer interface with prime or sub-experience across large multi-million / billion-dollar programs
• 2+ years of leadership of prime or subcontracts organizations with oversight of direct reporting employees
• 10+ years of combined experience with FAR/DFAR and/or intelligence community policies
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a US TOP SECRET clearance, to support these government contracts, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
• 10+ years of contracts management, subcontract management, paralegal or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department
• Masters degree, Juris Doctor, Paralegal certification or NCMA certification
• Prior (IC) intelligence community experience
• Experience with international/commercial contracts
• Leadership of direct reporting leaders
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently posses and be able to maintain a US TOP SECRET/ SCI clearance, to support these government contracts.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $127,700 - $244,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $146,800 - $276,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
