Job Description:

Purpose of Position
The Shift Supervisor, International Trip Planning is responsible for the effective supervision of the daily International Trip Planning activities. The Shift Supervisor oversees the department schedule and staffing, workload management, employee development, and assists the Manager, International Trip Planning in employee corrective actions and performance reviews.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily international trip planning activity by ensuring all tasks are completed on time with high accuracy
  • Perform duties of International Trip Planners
  • Quality review team performance and uses corrective actions if necessary for employee development.
  • Manage team schedule.
  • Coach and mentor new and current employees.
  • Primary point of contact for flight center and other operational leaders.
  • Deliver and drive new processes and procedures.
  • Respond to inquiries from various NetJets business groups, business partners, and customers- working with them to research service issues and identify areas for process improvement.

Education
Bachelor's in Aviation Management or Business Administration

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in international trip planning.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Expert understanding of international flight operations.

  • Ability to improve other's performance through education, mentoring, and coaching
  • Strong results orientation.
  • Strong collaboration skills and customer service oriented.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-changing environments.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include all shifts; 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts, as required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
