Context:
Information Management (IM) provides all the Information Technology (IT) systems required for design,
manufacture and annual delivery of Airbus Commercial aircrafts. It supports the near 12,000-strong
Airbus fleet, making sure every one of the company&39;s 56,000 employees has all the IT equipment and
support they need.
The IM organisation is changing. Because we face challenges, we embrace them. The new IM operating
model is based on four main drivers: Collaboration between the Business and IM, E2E product
accountability, Reinforced governance and People empowerment & development.
Several ‘transversal initiatives’ are in place to address the need to centrally manage initiatives that have
impacts across several product service lines (PSLs) and products. These initiatives will manage the
continuous alignment of roadmaps, budgets, costs and risks towards the delivery targets.
In this context, a vacancy for a job title as leader of one of these initiatives has arisen within Airbus
Commercial Aircraft in Bengaluru, India. The job holder will join the IM Governance & Agile
Transformation department as Transversal Initiative (TI) Task Leader supporting the Transversal
Initiative Simplify the IT landscape. He or she will organisationally be part of IM India Governance &
Agile Transformation, functionally reporting to the Head of IM Transversal Initiatives ( subdomain - DGB).
He or She will work with the TI programme Manager, act as Project Manager and coordinate the
impacted IM PSLs and Product teams to deliver value to the Business in time and quality.

Tasks & Accountabilities:
As a Transversal Initiative Task leader you will be responsible for the key IT activities of the programme &
you will work closely with the TI programme leader to ensure full alignment, business and IT.
● Make and keep the Airbus IT landscape simple with the right processes and solutions to manage
IT standards, platforms and services, in alignment with the Enterprise Architect team
● Elaborate the plan and setup of project roadmap to support the objectives of IT Simplification
● Align the plan with impacted stakeholders and promote it to get the full buy in
● Act as ambassador of IT Simplification with local teams based in India
● Launch TI task projects with IM domains and business functions to time, costs and quality
according to committed project objective
● Define and drive &34;right sized&34; project management processes (especially, supporting
quality assurance).
This role will involve some travels; thus, you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
Knowledge-based skills:
● Proven experience in Project / Portfolio management with large-scale delivery
● Proven experience in transformation and change management
● Ability to orchestrate the deployment of tasks within multiple business functions, with various
stakeholders
● Ability to work in a fast-paced tech environment
● Ability to communicate clearly to various levels of management, across various business
functions
● Strong knowledge of IT principles, technologies and architectures
● Knowledge and experience if possible of current other delivery frameworks used at Airbus
(Waterfall, Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
● Experience interfacing with technical and non-technical persons on business continuity and
recovery topics

of large transformation initiatives

Qualification & Experience:
● Any Professional Degree (Bachelors or Masters)
● Certifications related to the above mentioned technical skills
● Certifications in IT Architecture, Agile Methodologies and Project Management
● 10 years of relevant experience in the IT or Product Companies
Industry: Preferable in Aviation / Aerospace Firms, IT or Digital Technology firms.
Language skills:
● Level: Fluent in English
● Advanced level in French and/or German is helpful
Grading: E4
Success Metrics:
For the large / transverse initiatives, it will be supported with objectives defined by stakeholders
/ sponsors and feedback collected based on the collective objectives.
