ABOUT THE ROLE
Support our VMI Program Managers with negotiations, execution, and maintenance of our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program at Honeywell Aerospace. Execute key transactional initiatives and tasks to ensure compliance, accuracy, and fidelity in our supplier contract management systemsu2014support and lead efforts to execute our VMI Annual Operating Plan. Interact with multiple internal and external facing organizations globally to coordinate and finalize tasks aligning with our strategic initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create amendments to suppliers long-term contracts to implement changes to the VMI program.
- Create, Complete, and submit Compliance Packages.
- Implement supplier recovery standard work used to develop improved supplier performance.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional project teams driving improvements in OTTR, past due, and volatility.
- Assesses risk and identifies issues.
- Monitors progress against schedule.
- Implement supplier recovery standard work used to develop improved supplier performance.
- Managing and validating outside processors can support supplier and customer needs.
- Where needed, evaluate and deploy supplier recovery tools such as various assessments, training, quality improvements, delivery improvements, capacity improvement, lead-time reductions, Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen events.
- Interface with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers regarding supplier performance and improvement actions and processes. Be prepared to report at executive levels on plans and results.
- Create and manage the implementation of strategic projects, including project plans, overall tracking capability, and reporting progress within the team and up through leadership.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
MUST HAVE
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing or Commodity Management.
- High School Diploma or GED

- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
- Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
- Business Mindset and a passion for learning
- Demonstrated Business and financial acumen
- Experience with SAP or site-relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools and Microsoft Suite of products
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
- Bachelors Degree
