Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100 of the time.

Come build your career with BAE Systems.- Maintain, repairs, and update of environmental chambers, vibration tables, autoclaves, and wave solder systems.
- Responsible for the electrical, mechanical, heating and refrigeration parts of this equipment.
- Works from prints, handbooks and on-line documentation to analyze and restore malfunctioning environmental equipment.
- Able to repair / replace motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls, and circulating ventilation fans, using special tools and equipment such as staging, hoists and rigging.
- Using pressure and vacuum gauges or soap and water, inspect for and repair refrigerant gas leaks, and add refrigerant gas to the prescribed operating pressure.
- Performs computer assigned maintenance and preventative maintenance on environmental systems, documenting the work performed and what was replaced and/or repaired.
- Electronic and/or written communication with co-workers and management about work being performed.
- Perform Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedure
- Use of welding equipment.
- Work extended hours to repair equipment and minimize down time.
Job Requirements:
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - US Citizen
- Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- High School or GED or Trade School diploma.
- Universal HVAC Certification.
- EPA Universal Certification (Class IV) for the proper use of refrigerants.
- Minimum of (2) years of commercial / industrial experience in the HVAC trade is required.
- Prior use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Requires lifting loads of up to 50 lbs., bending, crouching, and working on ladders.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience handling refrigerants, brazing and welding of connections.
- Ability to work independently and with other members of a team.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and repair of manufacturing and process equipment.
- Knowledge of heating and cooling of environmental chambers with cascade systems.
- Possess good electrical, mechanical, plumbing, analytical and over all troubleshooting skills.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $59520 - $95280

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
